Welcome to the Propane Marketer Registration!

The Find a Propane Retailer (FPR) program is a national database of businesses engaged primarily in the retail sale of odorized propane to the ultimate consumer or to retail dispensers. Services provided by eligible retailers include: residential services, appliance installation, tank installation, cylinder exchange programs, cylinder repair and refilling, gas plumbing and piping, motor fuel service, and engine conversions/fuel system repairs. Pricing services, equipment suppliers, producers, and other similar businesses are not eligible to register for the FPR program. Additionally, information specific to propane prices is not permitted to appear in the FPR tool.

The FPR program is open to those businesses that pay an assessment. The assessment is the amount of money payable to PERC on sales of odorized propane pursuant to the Propane Education & Research Act (PERA). The owner of odorized propane at the time of odorization, or the time of import of odorized propane, makes the assessment based on the volume of odorized propane sold and placed into commerce. The assessment rate is published annually by PERC in its calendar year budget, a copy of which may be obtained on PERC's website www.propanecouncil.org.

All users who register below will be given access to the Propane Marketing Resource Center.

Name of your company or dealership. If your dealership is part of a larger group, you should enter you name as the name of the chain, followed by a dash, followed by the city (for example: "SampleGas - Baltimore").
The name of the group or chain that you belong to. If you are part of FerrellGas, for instance, put "FerrellGas" here. If you are part of your own small group, please use the same affiliation name for all your individual branches or dealerships. For a listing of the most common affiliations, click here.

Propane Marketer Locator Program

You will be able to log in to this account to modify your information, including the ability to add more marketer profiles or people in your organization. Your login account will be used as the primary business account. In the future, you will also use this feature to retrieve the customer leads generated by your participation in the marketer locator program.

Participation Agreement

I understand that as a participant in the Propane Marketer Locator Program, I agree to respond to all consumer leads within 3 business days of receipt of contact information.

In addition, I agree to participate in any follow-up research PERC deems appropriate to help gauge program success and direction including the American Petroleum Institute's Sales of Natural Gas Liquids and Liquefied Refinery Gases survey.
